NSSC NASA Shared Services Center Nex Gen

Welcome to the home page for NSSC NEX-GEN, the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) Service Provider (SP) follow-on competition. This page will serve as the NSSC's official online resource for assisting firms interested in competing for the opportunity to provide timely, accurate, high-quality, cost-effective, and customer-focused support for selected NASA business and technical services as part of the NSSC team. As we move through the procurement process toward a planned award in April 2015, this page will supplement the Federal Business Opportunities website and the NASA Acquisition Internet Service with pertinent information and updates to interested firms as that information becomes available. Please see the Announcements quick link (on the right) for the latest news and most up-to-date releases. The Document eLibrary (also on the right) will host all resources pertinent to the recompetition not residing on the Federal Business Opportunities website or the NASA Acquisition Internet Service.

The NSSC opened for business on March 1, 2006, and is located on NASA's Stennis Space Center in Hancock County, Mississippi. The establishment of the NSSC enabled the Agency to consolidate, at one location, over 50 financial management, human resources, information technology, and procurement activities, previously performed at all NASA Centers. Through the consolidation and standardization of these activities at the NSSC, the Agency has been able to realize operational efficiencies and improved customer service. The NSSC currently employs approximately 135 civil servants and is supported by approximately 450 service provider (support contractor) employees. Services under the current NSSC support services contract, NNX11AA02C, are being provided by Computer Sciences Corporation of Lanham Seabrooke, MD and will end on August 31, 2015.

The NSSC's FY14 Services Catalog  provides a brief description of the services that the NSSC will provide to the Agency in FY14 and includes the unit of measure, service level indicator, and service rate rounded to the nearest dollar. Please note that these service rates include both civil service and service provider (support contractor) labor costs, associated indirect costs, and all NSSC infrastructure costs necessary to perform the service.
